Account Executive, Inbound | 1.5 Year at TouchBistro

What do you do here at TouchBistro? How has your role/department evolved over the years?
I’m currently an Account Executive at TouchBistro. My role and department have developed a lot over the years. I started as a Business Development Representative and moved into the Account Executive role, which has been a great learning experience for me.

What is your favorite project you’ve worked on at TouchBistro?
It’s hard to choose just one, but an ongoing project I’ve worked on is the Talent and Culture Committee. We have many projects in the works and it’s been a great way to bring excitement and foster a strong culture at the company.

What makes TouchBistro special to you? 
TouchBistro is special because we’re not too big, but we’re big enough to have a lot of cross-functional work and collaboration. Most people know each other here, which makes learning and problem solving easier and more fun!

What inspires you about the future of the restaurant industry?
I’m excited about the future, because the restaurant industry is evolving so quickly. There are always new and exciting things happening, which I think is unique compared to other industries. Plus, I love food and trying new restaurants, so I am always feeling inspired!

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Or the weirdest food combo you love?
It would probably be a burrito bowl. They’re so versatile and delicious – I love to mix and match different ingredients to keep it interesting.

How do you collaborate with other teams within TouchBistro to ensure a seamless experience for our customers/internal teams?
I collaborate with many different teams, including Product, Payments, Implementation, Marketing, Customer Success, and more. I couldn’t do what I do without their help, support, and expertise. This collaboration makes our customers’ experiences better, because we work together to set them up for success.

In your opinion, what sets TouchBistro apart from other companies in the industry, and how do you see us continuing to lead in the future?
TouchBistro is different because we have a close-knit and tight team. Most of us work in-house and collaborate directly with each other, which creates a sense of teamwork that other companies may not have. This unique environment fosters innovation and overall success for our teams and our customers.

What aspect of your role at TouchBistro brings you the most satisfaction and fulfillment, and why?
The most satisfying part of my role is helping people and their businesses. When I can solve problems and make a customer excited to go live with our product, it’s very rewarding. It feels great knowing that we’re truly the best fit for their needs.

How do the core values of TouchBistro contribute to the success of your projects?
TouchBistro’s core values, like collaboration, innovation, and accountability, play a huge role in the success of my projects. These values are evident in every project we complete, ensuring that our teams are always aligned and working towards a common goal.

If you could have dinner with any famous chef or restaurateur, who would it be and why?
I’d love to have dinner with someone like Guy Fieri. He has had a huge impact on the restaurant industry, and I’d be fascinated to learn about his philosophies on service, food, and building successful restaurants.
